WHAT WE DO
The UN Decade Ocean Committee Ireland

The Committee is a new informal network aimed to provide a platform for shared-island researchers to enhance their interdisciplinary collaborative efforts at a national and international level and promote their scientific activities linked to the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development in Ireland.

The Committee will support the communication of the importance of the ocean and the Decade to the public and policy makers, and the engagement of resources from all sectors of society. It encourages and supports national activities and acts as a link between national and international initiatives linked to the Decade.
